I’ve been in the optical industry for over 30 years, and I still love what I do. One of my favourite parts of this work is creating a space where people feel comfortable enough to step outside their usual style and try something bold. Whether it’s a pop of colour or an unexpected shape, I’m here to help you dare to be different—and find a frame that feels like you.

I’ve always had a knack for finding just the right pair, and I take pride in helping clients feel confident and seen. With years of experience and a deep love for fashion-forward eyewear, I’ve carved out a place in this industry where style and personal connection go hand in hand.

When I’m not at Viva, I’m often spending time with family and friends—or with Olivia, my adorable (and very opinionated!) Coton de Tulear. I’m also on a personal wellness journey and love learning new ways to live with intention and joy.

With 16 years in the optical industry, I’ve come to see eyewear as so much more than just frames and lenses—it’s where function meets fashion. I absolutely love helping clients discover that perfect pair that highlights their features and fits their lifestyle. Guiding people through the process—choosing shape, colour, and material—is something I genuinely enjoy.

Right now, I’m especially drawn to the impeccable style and sophistication of Balmain—I’ve got my eye out for my next favourite pair!

Outside of work, life is wonderfully full with five grandchildren keeping me on my toes. When I do find a little downtime, you’ll catch me curled up with a horror novel, listening to a podcast, or enjoying a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon out on the deck.

I’m so happy to be part of the Viva team! With over a decade of experience in the optical world, I’ve always loved the process of helping people find frames that not only look great but also fit effortlessly into their everyday lives. Getting to know our customers, hearing their stories, and helping them discover eyewear that reflects their personality is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Since joining Viva, I’ve developed a deeper appreciation for independent brands—Theo Eyewear in particular has completely won me over with its bold colours and playful silhouettes.

When I’m not in the shop, I spend as much time as I can outdoors. I love a good walk around Wascana Lake with friends, capturing photos of birds and landscapes, or heading out on a long bike ride with a true crime podcast in my ears.
